Junior Delgado, born Oscar Hibbert and also known as Jux, was a prominent figure in Jamaican roots reggae. Born on August 25, 1958, in West Kingston, Jamaica, he collaborated with legendary artists throughout his career. Sadly, he passed away from natural causes in his sleep on April 11, 2005, in London, at just 46 years old. Despite his early death, his musical legacy remains influential, inspiring reggae fans worldwide.
His 1981 album More She Love It Showcase, released on Yvonne's Special label, is a prime example of the "disco-style showcase" format popular during reggae's golden era. The album is now considered rare and highly prized among vinyl collectors and classic reggae enthusiasts.
