The music project Herrimin, founded by Asier del Alamo and Iker Beñaran, reinterprets classic Basque songs from the 1960s and 1970s through the lens of reggae aesthetics. Drawing from their extensive background in various sound systems and musical collectives, the founders integrate traditional compositions into a Jamaican musical framework. The project serves as a cultural bridge, synthesizing the artists' personal creative influences with Basque heritage through the adaptation and recombination of established musical forms.
