The Easy Star Records label has reissued on vinyl the self-titled debut album by the California band The Expanders, a milestone in the American roots reggae revival. Long out of print on physical formats, the record is characterized by a lean, traditional analog sound inspired by 1970s Jamaican classics, eschewing contemporary production flourishes.
